I have long been a believer in the incredible power of habits, and firmly believe there’s nothing else in your life that will influence your success more than your habits. Whether by intentional choice or subconscious pattern, habits almost completely dictate your daily routine, and it is your daily routine that grows to become your life.

Because of this, it is absolutely critical that you pay attention to your habits. Don’t take your daily routine for granted, because it is your daily routine that will pave your way to either “the same old same old,” or to greater success!

So what are some habits that you should be nurturing in order to obtain greater success? In an excellent article titled “12 Quiet Rituals of Enormously Successful Humans” author Angel Chernoff gives a thoughtful and detailed review of some of the simplest but most important habits practiced by highly successful people. Here are those habits, ready to be incorporated into your own life:

  1. Have calm, consistent morning routines
  2. Eliminate all needless busywork
  3. Do what needs to be done, TODAY!
  4. Gradually turn life’s obstacles around
  5. Learn by stretching yourself to your limits
  6. Turn to your intuition when making tough decisions
  7. Mindfully focus on the positive
  8. Create visual reminders of your long-term goals
  9. Keep some kind of personal notebook
  10. Have mentors you observe and consult with
  11. Welcome honest feedback and criticism
  12. Keep your pride in check

I strongly encourage you to read the full original article (click here) and to seriously consider and reflect on these 12 modest but critical rituals. Are there any that you already practice? If so, excellent! What are some others that you could work into your life to ultimately receive far greater value and achieve far greater success?

I guarantee, by choosing, developing, and sticking to the right habits, you will achieve far greater success, fulfillment, and happiness!
