As founder and CEO of America’s Healthcare Leaders I had the honor of conducting a wide-ranging interview with Joel Allison, CEO of Baylor Scott & White Health. The in-person one-hour interview was conducted in Allison’s office in Dallas, Texas. Joel Allison is truly one of America’s healthcare leaders!

During the interview, Allison emphasized the critical importance of mentors and choosing good mentors. He explained:

“I am a big believer in mentoring and having a mentor. I think that one of the best things a leader can do is choose good mentors. But remember: What kind of advice you are going to get is based on whom you choose to be your advisor. So choose wisely.”
